Making Sunshine Play dough

For our science topic we are looking at the planets, space and beyond.  We have talked a lot about all our eight planets.
Today we made sunshine play dough.  To make it at home you need 1 cup of salt, 3 cups of hot water, 1/4 cup of oil, 2 heaped teaspoons of cream of tarter and four cups of flour, and yellow dye.  Combine all ingredients to get the right consistency.  We also added some lemon essence.

We had a great time making snowmen and aliens!!
