Yesterday Caleb participated in the book scavenger hunt and he showed us all the different books he gathered at home. One of the books he found were over 1000 words.. Great job Caleb!

We are learning from home:

New Zealand is in lockdown level 4 until we get our community cases under control again. We are doing our learning online.

Storylines Author Visit

Today New Windsor Junior School had a visit from the author Swapna Haddow. She read us one of her new books. What a fantastic experience for our children! Her new book was called My Dad is a Grizzly Bear. After she had read the book to the children she taught them step by step how to draw a Grizzly Bear.

The children's drawings are fantastic and unique to each child with their own special names given to them by each child.

Here we are practising our literacy skills for our reading and writing. 

Our skills get better the more we practice and work together.
