Our Learner Profile- The New Windsor Way

We have been learning about the new Learner Profile for New Windsor School and how we fit in to the New Windsor Way.

Today we learned that we are the Kakano (the seedling) and are we are growing and learning together.

The children know a lot about seeds and growing.

Today they drew pictures about seeds, gardens, and the optimal things in nature that a seed needs to grow strong.

Sharing our work!

We are learning how to listen and talk to each other and share our work.  This week we have been talking about our families. We have been sharing how many family members we have, if we have pets and what we love about our families.

Today was our first day at school. We are learning what school is about and finding our way around the new environment.

We are making new friends and having lots of fun!
